Nollywood actor, Pete Eneh, is dead. He had one of his legs amputated to save his life just a few
days ago. According to people in the know, the actor
died today at Park Lane Hospital in Enugu, where he has been receiving
treatment. Most of us love his gentle nature in
movies. He will be missed. RIP sir.

South Africa, today, November 6th, rolled out new notes bearing the image of 94 year old anti-apartheid leader and the country's first black president, Nelson Mandela. The new 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 rand banknotes feature Mandela’s image on one side and the other side maintains the Big Five animals already on the bills. Mandela is the first black man to appear on South African money.

Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs Olayinka Oladunjoye, today, said the State Government would introduce Mandarin or Chinese Language in public schools curriculum as from next session.
According to her, learning the language in the state’s public schools would be an opportunity for the students to speak the language and be able to adapt to the Chinese culture. The language became necessary because China had become the new destination for economic growth and technological development, she said.
